Customize the capture forms
Customize a capture form generated for activities such as Scan, Validation, Verification and Document Review. The input and output variables for the activity appear as controls on the generated form. You can add new controls, move controls, and remove existing controls.

In the Form Designer, open the capture form to customize.
The capture control appears. For example, validation control appears for a validation form.

Click
Configure.
The Input/Output Variables View appears with the existing controls.

Customize the layout and properties as needed. See
Configure a composite control.
When you take the manual capture activity at runtime, the latest released version of the form loads. The input and output variables appear in the Activity tab of the Composite Capture control.
- Change the settings of a process or activity on which the form is generated. See Configure the advanced properties of a form
- Click Release .

Take and complete activities at runtime.

Take and complete ordinary activities after generating a Create New Job form. See Build a Create New Job form.

Take and complete the capture activities after generating a Scan Create New Job form. See Build a Scan Create New Job form. Uncommitted documents eventually expire. If this occurs, the system generates a warning. Cancel and retry your action.
Customize a Scan Create New Job form
Process initialization variables appear as corresponding controls in the generated form. Customize the form in the designer, as needed.

Click the Scan Create New Job Form to open in the design view.
The Scan - New Job control appears.

Click
Configure.
The Initialization Variables View appears and lists any initialization variables.

Customize the layout and click
Release.
At runtime, the latest released version of the form loads and all initialization variables are displayed in the Process tab of the Composite Capture control.
Configure the main toolbar and image viewer toolbar commands
You can configure a capture form (generated for Scan, Validation, Verification and Document Review activities) at design time to selectively hide all or individual buttons on the main tool bar and the image viewer toolbar at runtime.
If a command is disabled, appropriated toolbar button is hidden at runtime and corresponding keyboard shortcut does not work. If you open the shortcut help window (by pressing the Ctrl key), all the hidden commands are excluded from this window.
- In the Form Designer, click the capture form to open.
- On the Properties bar, click Settings .
- Click the Configuration tab.
- To disallow creating or editing annotations in the image viewer, click No for Allow to Edit and Create Annotations. (Default: Yes)

By default, the capture form displays all the buttons on the
main toolbar at runtime. To enable or disable all or specific buttons on the
main toolbar, do the following in the
Main Toolbar Commands
group:

To hide all the buttons, click Yes for Disable All Main Toolbar Commands.
You cannot disable the following commands: Complete Activity, Complete Activity and Take Next, Cancel Activity, Create Job, Scan and Scan All

To restrict an individual button from displaying at runtime, do the following:

Select the button from the table.
The selected button/label name appears in the Name box.

Click No for Enabled.

Click Update .

By default, the capture form displays all the buttons on the
image viewer toolbar at runtime. To enable or disable all or specific buttons
on the image viewer toolbar, do the following in the
Image Viewer Toolbar
Commands group:

To hide all the buttons, click Yes for Disable All Image Viewer Toolbar Commands.

To restrict individual button from displaying at runtime, do the following:

Select the button from the table.
The selected button/label name appears in the Name box.

Click No for Enabled.
