TotalAgility is based on Microsoft technologies built entirely in WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) and deployable on-premise or in the cloud. Consequently this leads to lower developer costs, increased quality, and shorter time to market.

The Designer consists of the following main components:

• Process Designer: Helps you model business processes through a user-friendly graphical modeling environment. Process models (maps) are saved in the database as XML files.

• Form Designer: Helps you create workflow forms (screens) based on TotalAgility process maps, without the need for extensive programming. Forms are specified in the XML-based message definition, and held in the database and rendered by a Forms Server.

  Note All configuration data regarding process maps, form and sites are held in the main TotalAgility database.
