Create a data backbone variable

  1. Open the process map in which to create a data backbone variable.
  2. On the Modeling bar, click Variables.

    The Variables page appears.

  3. Enter a Name and ID for the variable.
  4. On the Type list, click Data Backbone.
  5. Click Configure. The Data Backbone Variable page appears.
    1. Consume a pre-configured CCM instance in the CCM Instance box. All the existing CCM projects associated with the selected instance appear in the CCM Project list.
    2. On the CCM Project list, select a project.
    3. Click OK.
  6. To set the variable as an initialization variable, click Yes for Initialization.
  7. Click.
  8. Click .
