Add images to a form

You can add a single or multiple images to a form. When you add multiple images, based on the order the images are added, a stack order is created. The first image has a stack order of one, the second image has a stack order of two and so on.

You can use this stack to build up complex graphic using images that have transparent areas and allow the image underneath to show through.

You can use the Change Stack Order action to change the stack order value or remove or move an element towards the bottom of the stack. See Add a change stack order action.

To add multiple images:

  1. On the Extended Properties page of an image control, select the Image tab.
  2. Select Yes for Multiple Images. (Default: No, which means that you can only add a single image.)
  3. Select either option for Load Image from Store:
    • No: Enter an image name or URL in the Image box. (Default: No)

Note TotalAgility provides custom images. These images are available at the following location of your installed folder:

      <Installation location>\Kofax\TotalAgility\Agility.Server.Web\Forms\Images

In on-premise TotalAgility, if you wish to use images other than those provided by TotalAgility, you must place your images in the Images folder.

    • Yes: Consume an existing image or enter the image name (for example, Add.png) in the Image box.

Note The name must match the name in the database for the image to display at runtime.
  4. In the Alternate Text box, enter text equivalent to the image for screen reader software like JAWS and instances when the image cannot be displayed. Specifying alternate text helps users understand the purpose behind the control. For example, a form to register for a seminar might require the user to enter information and click an image or button to submit the information. Providing alternate text, "Click the Submit button to submit your information" for the image helps understand the purpose of the Submit button.
  5. Click Preview Image to preview the image.
  6. Click Add.
  7. Add more images as needed.
