Create a checklist variable

  1. Open the process.
  2. On the Modeling bar, click Variables.

    The Variables page appears.

  3. Enter a Name and ID for the variable.
  4. On the Type list, select Checklist.
  5. Click Configure.

    The Checklist Variable page appears.

  6. Click the Checklist Template icon in the Checklist Template box.
  7. On the Data list, click Checklists .

    A list of available checklist templates appears.

  8. Consume the template in the Checklist Template box.

    All existing checklist items associated with the selected checklist template (base template) get added to the checklist variable.

  9. In addition to the items available in a checklist template, you can add more items to a checklist variable.
    1. Click the Checklist Items icon in the Checklist Items box. A list of available checklist items appears.
    2. Consume the item in the Checklist Items box and click Add Add.
    3. Add more items as required.

      You cannot add or remove checklist items from the base checklist template (the checklist template used in a checklist variable); you can only add items over and above the checklist template, and remove items added directly for the checklist variable.

  10. Use the Up or Down arrow to set the order of the checklist items in the list.
  11. Click OK.
    Note Importing or exporting a process map also imports or exports items and categories associated with the template.
