Export business alerts
You can export one or more business alerts. The alert is exported as an XML file of the same name. By default, the alert is exported as a zipped folder to the target location, and the name of the folder is the name of the first alert in the exported alerts list.

On the
Home page, click

The Export Alerts page appears.

Click the
Alerts button outside the
Alerts box.
A list of Alerts appear.
- Select the needed alert and consume it in the Alerts box.

Select to export an alert with or without associated processes:

To export an alert without associated processes, click OK.

To export an alert with associated processes:

Click Yes for Associated Files

Select either option for Associated Processes:

Combined: Activities assigned to the group to which the resource belongs.

Individual: Activities assigned to the selected resource.

- Select to include Generalized Export to export an alert without setting up the entire environment in which a job would normally run; click OK.
- Select to include

with path in the exported alert.
Generalized Export, this option is unavailable.This option is selected by default. However, if you include

Select to include Fragments.

Select to include Template Skins.
- In the Category group, select to include Categories information and Category Parentage. Note: The Category Parentage includes the current category to which the alert belongs, and all parent and sub-categories associated with the alert.
- In the Resources group, select to include Resources, member details for resource groups and Resource Extensions.

Click OK.

When prompted to confirm the export, click
OK.
The Save As window opens.
- Select a destination for the exported alert.
- Click Save.
