Configure a Classification activity

  1. Add a Classification activity to the map. See Add an activity.
  2. On the Extended Properties page of the Classification activity, click the Configuration tab.
  3. To configure input for a Classification activity, consume a Folder variable in the Input box. See Manage process variables.
  4. Optionally, to configure a Separation Profile for a Classification activity, consume a separation profile in the Separation Profile box. See Create separation profiles.
  5. Select whether to inherit the classification group from process.

    • To inherit the classification group from the process, click Yes for Inherit from Process. At runtime, a list of document types belonging to the classification group at process level appears.

    • To change the classification group specific to this activity, click No for Inherit from Process and consume a Classification Group.

    Note

    • If you select to inherit the classification group from process but have not associated a classification group at the process level, the system displays a message.

    • If you have consumed a classification group but have not consumed it at the activity level, the system displays a message.

    In both cases, you can only save the process but cannot release it until configuration is complete.

  6. Click Save.
