Configure the retention period for a process

You can configure the retention period for completed or terminated jobs and cases of the process. The jobs are automatically deleted once the retention period is over.

Note Deleting is a non-recoverable action.

You can also configure the retention policy at the system level. See Configure the retention policy.

  1. On the Extended Properties page, click Advanced.
  2. To configure the retention policy do either of the following for Job History:
    • To retain the process permanently, click Indefinitely.
    • To retain the process for a specific period, click Custom and enter the number of Years, Months and Days. (Default: 1 year, Minimum value: 1 day)
  3. Click Save.

    The configured settings are saved.
