Configure a Change State Action for a new mail

Configure a Change State TotalAgility action for a New Mail event occurring in the Microsoft Exchange. For example, configure a Change State action to be triggered under any of the following circumstances:

  • When an email arrives in your Inbox.

  • When you receive an email with a subject that matches the pre-defined regular expression format.

To configure the Change State action for the Microsoft Exchange event:

  1. On the Home page, click Integration > Exchange.

    The Exchange Sites page appears.

  2. Click Add Add for Exchange Sites.

    The Exchange Site page appears.

  3. On the Select Source list, select the source for which to configure the action.
  4. On the Event list, select the event, such as Item Added, for which to configure the TotalAgility action.
  5. On the Action list, select Change State.
  6. To display the state of a job at runtime, do the following:
    1. Enter a static value or consume the Job ID.
    2. Enter a static value or consume the State.
    3. Consume the attributes to the Job ID and State fields.
  7. Click OK.

    When a folder is created in the Exchange Site, a changed state action is created against a job at runtime.
