Import business alerts

You can import business alerts between different installations and versions of Kofax TotalAgility. For example, you may need to import alerts from a development server onto a production server. When you upgrade the version of Kofax TotalAgility on your system, the business alerts are automatically upgraded to the current version.

Note You can import a single alert or multiple alerts. All alerts are imported in XML format. To import multiple alerts at once, select the zipped file that has the required alerts.
  1. On the Home page, click Business Monitoring > Import Alerts.
  2. On the Import Business Alerts page, click Browse and select single or multiple business alerts, as required.
    Note You can only import single alerts as XML files. Import multiple alerts in zip files. To import a single alert from a zipped file, extract the zipped file, and then import the required alert as an XML file.
  3. Click Open, which imports the business alerts.

    Note the following:

    • If the business alerts does not exist, Kofax TotalAgility creates it.

    • If a business alert with the same name exists, and you select not to overwrite the existing business alert, the alert remains as is. Otherwise, Kofax TotalAgility overwrites the existing alerts.

  4. Click OK.

    A message indicates whether the import succeeded.

  5. Click OK.
