Add a Hide Action Menu action

Use the Hide Action Menu action to conceal a menu when a touch-enabled Phone or Tablet form is opened on a touch-enabled device.

Note You can select an action menu from the list of multiple action menus.
  1. On the Form Modeling bar, click Actions.
  2. On the Actions page, click Add Generic Add.
  3. On the Type list, select Hide Action Menu.
  4. Enter a Name and Description for the action.
  5. Optionally, configure a unique action for each language separately. See Configure multilingual actions for a form or control.
  6. To hide the action menu, consume the menu in the Action Menu box.
  7. Click OK.

    The newly created action is added to the table.

  8. Click Save.
  9. Associate the action with the control to trigger the action. To call the Hide Action Menu action, associate the action with a touch-enabled Phone or Tablet form. See Associate an action with a form or control.

    When triggered, this action hides the menu when the form is opened.

    Note Calling the Hide Action Menu action closes the action menu.
