Customize the JobList actions

You can configure confirmation message for each action within a Job List control. If you configure a confirmation message for an action at design time, the message appears at runtime when you select an action on a job.

Note By default, a confirmation message is provided for the Suspend and Terminate actions.
  1. On the Extended Properties page of a JobList control, click the Actions tab.
  2. Select an action from the table, such as Recover.
    The Action Name box displays the name of the selected action.
  3. By default, all the actions are displayed at runtime. To hide the action at runtime, select the action and click No for Display.
  4. In the Confirmation Message box, enter a message for the action. For example, for the Recover action, enter the confirmation message, "Do you want to recover the job?"
  5. Click Update Update.
    The confirmation message is added to the table.
  6. Click Save.
    At runtime, when the Recover action is triggered, the configured message appears.
