Configure a Supporting Info activity

When configuring a Support Info activity, do one of the following:

  • Manually enter text.

  • Provide variables to dynamically get the relevant information at the time of execution.

  • Use a combination of static text and dynamic values.

  1. Add a Supporting Info activity to the map. See Add an activity.
  2. On the Extended Properties page of the Supporting Info activity, click the Configuration tab.
  3. Consume the variable in the Job ID box.
  4. Add the supporting data in the Data box, such as “This claim is for Customer A, Claim Type B, Claim Amount C.”

    If the data exceeds 500 characters, it is truncated when it appears at runtime.

    You can reuse the data by copying and pasting it in another Supporting Activity action.

  5. Click Save.

    When the node is executed at runtime, the Supporting Info field for the job is updated with the relevant information.
