Work with thumbnails

Thumbnails are always available for PDF pages. If they are not embedded, they are created on-the-fly whenever you open the Pages panel. Embedding thumbnails allows them to appear faster. By default thumbnails are not embedded.

Tip Thumbnails are useful for performing whole-page operations. An alternative is to use Document Assembly which, in addition, allows objects or text to be selected inside pages to be moved or copied to other pages or even other documents.

Thumbnails are displayed in the Pages panel. You can enlarge, reduce, embed or un-embed thumbnails.
