Save, export or import imposition

Imposition is the preparation of a PDF document for DTP-style printing.

In Power PDF, select File > Print, and select Power PDF as the printer. Then click Imposition in the bottom left of the Print dialog box.

The Imposition dialog box displays with three tabs:

  • Layout: Determines the page arrangement and layout on printing sheets, the printing order and binding method.
  • Media: Determines the print sheet size, scaling and margins.
  • Options: Defines crop marks (cutting), registration (alignment) and double-sided printing choices.

Imposition settings can be saved for reuse.
