Display the Pages panel, right-click a page and select Number Pages in the Options drop-down list.

Use this dialog box to define custom page numbering for selected pages.

Select to re-number all pages, selected pages only or a document section.

If you start a new section, you can

• set a different numbering style, specify a prefix for the new page numbers and set the starting page number for the selection. The sample at the bottom shows a dynamic preview.

• continue numbering from the previous section with inherited styling.
