Configure a Business rule activity to invoke a business rule.

1. Add an activity to the map. See Add an activity.

   By default, the Configuration tab is open in the properties panel of the activity.

2. Enter a Name for the activity.
3. On the Type list, select Common > Business rule.
4. On the Business rule list, select the business rule to associate with the activity.
   A list of business rule parameters appears under Input and Output.
5. Map the input and output parameters of the business rule to the process map. Alternatively, you can create new variables and map the variables. See Create a process variable while configuring activities.
   Note For input parameters you can use a dynamic variable or static value.
6. Save the process map.
