Maintain a Scan/VRS profile

You can modify, copy and delete the Scan/VRS profiles.

  1. Navigate to Capture > Scan/VRS profiles.

    The list of Scan/VRS profiles appears.

  2. To modify a Scan/VRS profile:
    1. Click the Scan/VRS profile to modify.

      The Edit Scan/VRS profile dialog box is displayed.

    2. Make changes as needed.
    3. Save the Scan/VRS profile.
  3. To create a copy of Scan/VRS profile:
    1. On the context menu of the Scan/VRS profile to copy, click Copy.
      The New Scan/VRS profile dialog box displays the copy of Scan/VRS profile with the name, CopyOf_<Scan/VRS profile name>.
    2. Make changes as needed, such as rename the profile or modify the settings.
    3. Save the Scan/VRS profile.
  4. To delete a Scan/VRS profile, on the context menu of the Scan/VRS profile to delete, click Delete.

    On confirmation, the profile is deleted.

View Scan/VRS profile associations

You can view the list of business processes that are using the current Scan/VRS profile.

  1. Navigate to Capture > Scan/VRS profiles.
    The list of Scan/VRS profiles are displayed.
  2. Click the Scan/VRS profile for which to view the associations.

    The Edit Scan/VRS profile dialog box is displayed.

  3. Click the Associations tab.

    The process names (as hyperlink) along with the latest process version that is using the current Scan/VRS profile are displayed. You can click the process name link to open the process in a new browser tab, and make changes as needed.

    If the current version of a process is not associated with the Scan/VRS profile, but an earlier version was associated, then the associated process name and the version number are still displayed on the Associations tab.

    If the Scan/VRS profile is open and you have used the current Scan/VRS profile in another process, or renamed the already associated process, click Refresh to display the newly associated, updated or renamed processes.
