Manage queries

You can modify, delete, copy and share a query, and view query associations on the queries page.

To open a Job, Work queue or System queries page, navigate to Queries > Job queries or Work queue queries or System queries.

The list of queries available within your working category appears.

Modify a query

  1. Locate the query that you need:
    • To display the queries within a specific category, select the category on the Category list.

    • Alternatively, to display a specific query, enter the name of the query in the Search field and click .

  2. On the list of queries, click the query to modify.
  3. Make changes as needed.
  4. Save the query.

Copy a query

You can make a copy of a query and then make changes to suit your requirements. For example, to create a copy of a Job query, perform the following steps.

  1. Locate the query you want to copy.
  2. On the context menu of the query to copy, click Copy.
    A copy of the query prefixed with Copy 1 of to the <query name> appears on the Job queries page.
  3. Make changes, such as rename the query.
  4. Save the query.

    Note Similarly, you can copy a Work queue and System query.

Delete a query

On the list of queries, on the context menu of the query to delete, click Delete.

On confirmation, the selected query is deleted.

View query associations

View the list of forms associated with job, work queue, and system queries.

  1. Navigate to Queries > Job queries or Work queue queries or System queries.

    The list of queries appears.

  2. Open the query for which to view the associations.
  3. Click the Associations tab.

    The list of forms that are using the selected query appears. The form names are displayed as hyperlinks.

    You can click the form name link to open the form in a new browser tab and make changes, as needed.

  4. Click Save.
