Job tracking

All print, scan, and copy jobs are tracked by the Unified Client for HP and can be reviewed with Equitrac or Output Manager reporting. For Equitrac print release jobs, tracking is done on the server. Configure the print server (Equitrac or Output Manager) to track print jobs.

Jobs must be completed through the Print-to-Me page to be tracked. If CAC is used for authentication, data is not collected for tracking.

Print jobs that are sent directly to the device are tracked to the unidentified user and are not charged in Equitrac or Output Manager.
Print jobs from the on-board device USB are tracked to the logged on user with total pages, color pages, and job type. Usage reports are available in the Device report in Output Manager.
