Eco-Mode Defeats Print Settings for Duplexing

If Eco-Mode is set on the device, it can override requests made from Equitrac Embedded regarding finishing options, such as simplex printing. In order for print jobs to be costed correctly, we recommend disabling Eco-Mode on the device at install time:
  1. From a web browser, open the Lexmark MFP device web page: http://device_ip
  2. From the left menu, select Settings, then General Settings. The General Settings page opens.
  3. Select Eco-Mode.
  4. From the Eco-Mode list of options, select either Off or Energy. Any other option causes incorrect costing due to forced duplexing of print jobs.
