Configuring Administrator Credentials

When performing a bulk install using Web Jetadmin, all associated devices must be configured with the same Admin ID and Password. This can be set at each device individually, or globally through Web System Manager. When the Admin ID and Password is set globally, all newly created devices in Web System Manager will be automatically configured with these Admin credentials.

To set the Admin ID and Password across all devices, do the following:

  1. Open Web System Manager and navigate to System Configuration > Global Configuration Settings > Devices > Embedded devices.
  2. Select HP OXP from the Device type list.
  3. Enter an Admin ID and Password, and click Apply.
After installing the Equitrac Embedded for HP OXP solution, the Admin credentials can be manually overwritten at each individual device, if desired.
