How to determine the host name or IP address of the AutoStore server

You can use this procedure to determine the network address for the AutoStore server.

1. Create a new configuration file within AutoStore Workflow Process Designer and add the Lexmark MFP capture component.
2. Right-click the Lexmark MFP component in the workflow, and Properties on the shortcut menu.
3. Click the Preferences tab.
4. Select one of the following:
   • To use non-SSL, copy the Server URL and replace "localhost" with either the host name or IP address of the server. By default, AutoStore uses 3233 as the port.
   • To use SSL, copy the Server SSL URL and replace "localhost" with either the host name or IP address of the server. By default, AutoStore uses 3234 as the port.
   To find the host name or IP address, open a Command Prompt window on the server and enter one of the following:
   • To get the host name, enter hostname after the prompt.
   • To get the IP address, enter ipconfig after the prompt.
