Billing Code (tracked workflows only)

This section applies to eSF 4.x devices only. The Equitrac Embedded installer creates a template for each billable function of the MFP during the installation process. Both the Equitrac solution for authentication as well as authorization are present in each template. Providing a template for each function allows the workflow at the device to proceed without the need for users logging in after completing a task. For instance, users can copy a document, and then move on to fax a different document without exiting the workflow and logging in again. The software remembers the user’s login credentials and billing code.

The number of security templates required depends upon the number of MFP functions Equitrac Embedded will track. This number is set during the installation process, and can be subsequently updated in the configuration settings. The security templates normally created by the installer must be created and named by the device administrator. Instructions for doing these actions are provided in a separate document.
