How to deploy top-level buttons with HP Web Jetadmin

After you configure the HP OXPd component and start the AutoStore server, a TopLevelButtons folder appears in the HP OXPd home folder. The folder contains XML files that define device functions. Use the HP Web Jetadmin tool to deploy the functions to devices that support HP OXPd.

Browse to the HP Web Jetadmin home page and start the HP Web Jetadmin tool.
On the menu bar, click Tools > Options.
In the Options dialog box, click Device Management > Configuration > OXPd Device Functions.
Click Import and select the device functions XML file from the HP OXPd home directory. For example:

You can import multiple device functions XML files.
To register device functions on devices that support HP OXPd:
1. In the HP Web Jetadmin tool, select the device in the device list.
2. Click the Config tab at the bottom of the window.
3. Click Device > OXPd Device Function and click Add.
4. Select the device functions XML file that you imported and click OK.
5. Select the check box next to the device function XML file list.
6. Click Apply and click Configure Devices.
