Logging in with a Proximity Card

To log in at a proximity card reader, do the following:
  1. Pass the card within 1 inch (2.5 cm) of the proximity symbol located on the top of the card reader device. If the swipe is detected, the LED flashes off temporarily.
  2. If Secondary prompt is enabled in Web System Manager, and a secondary PIN has been assigned in the database, the user must enter their password on the MFP front panel when prompted. If the user does not have an associated secondary PIN, they can leave the field blank to proceed.
