Configure a VPSX print queue

Use the Devices > Physical Devices link to add a VPSX print queue to a physical device in Equitrac.

  1. Select a physical device, then select Add External Print Queue from the Select Action drop-down list.
  2. In the General Settings section, do the following:
    1. Enter a Name for the VPSX print queue.
    2. The Server defaults to the current DCE host. You can select a different server from the drop-down list.
    3. Select VPSX from the Type drop-down list.
    4. Enter the Destination printer URI. This information is provided by LRS, indicating the server name, port, and location on the server.
  3. In the PersonalQ URIs section, do the following:
    1. Enter the URI to identify the location of the PersonalQ URI where jobs are held in VPSX. This information is provided by LRS.
    2. Click Add to add the PersonalQ to the URI list.
    3. Perform these steps again to add multiple PersonalQs.
      Although there can be multiple PersonalQs, only one external print queue can be assigned per Equitrac device.
  4. Click Save to save the VPSX configuration.
