KBC authentication is not working when "Require PIN with card swipe" is enabled in OM settings

Issue: If the Unified Client is configured with Output Manager and you are trying to authenticate using Kofax Business Connect, a "Please follow the prompts on your mobile device" message might appear on the screen. However, the mobile device does not show any prompt.

Cause: Some Output Manager authentication options are not supported with Business Connect.

Solution: Turn off the following authentication options in Output Manager console > Security tab > Set General Preference Utility > External client login section:

  • Require PIN with card ID entry

  • Require PIN with card swipe
