Configure the guest user feature

The main function of the Guest user feature is to allow users access to the device without providing regular login credentials. The Guest user can be configured to set specific device functions the user has access to. For example, allow guest user access to print, but deny the use of copy, scan and fax.

If configured for print only, the Guest User is not able to perform other device functions such as Copy, Fax or Scan. Additionally, other Equitrac functions such as Capture and Send should also not be available to the Guest User.

The Standard User who logs on with regular login credentials is allowed to access device functions and Equitrac additional functions dependent on their function access control.
