Set Xerox Convenience Authentication prompts

The following settings must be set before creating Xerox embedded devices.

In Web System Manager, go to Global Configuration Settings > Devices > Embedded devices.
Select Xerox ECSP from the Device type list.
Click on the link beside Tracked activities to open the Embedded device configuration dialog box and select the activities you want to track. If you do not want to track any activity, clear all of the options.

Only select Print if you intend to use the popup feature of the Xerox print driver to prompt for User and Account IDs. See Configuring MFP Properties if you intend to use Xerox Convenience Authentication as the authentication method.
Enter a Title and Login prompt to display on the login screen of the embedded device. These fields are not available for VersaLink devices.

If you modify the Title or Login prompt after a device has been initialized by the Equitrac server, you must re-initialize the device. See Configuring Embedded Devices for instructions.
Select Force logout on swipe to allow the user to logout by swiping their card a second time.
Select Purge print buffer upon user logoff to stop a print job and purge it from the printer’s memory once the user logs off. Enabling this options slows the logout process.
Select Enable job limits to set session limit when user is inactive (default is 60 seconds).
Set the ECSP polling Interval (default is 1800 seconds) and Polling threads (default is 6) to repeatedly check for a status condition.
Set Name and URL address for External application.
From the Services Home Container list, select the Workflow Container you want to use as the global default for all devices. This list contains the pre-configured and created Workflow Containers.
Click OK to save the changes.
