Configuring the Application on the Server

This section provides the procedure required to configure the embedded device through Web System Manager. This workflow assumes you have already registered the physical device in Web System Manager and, if necessary, enabled secure printing at the print queue level, as detailed in the Kofax Equitrac Administration Help file.

After you install the Equitrac Embedded application, the general server-side configuration workflow is as follows:

  1. Register the embedded device in Web System Manager, assigning it to an existing MFP.
  2. Configure embedded device details and device-level tracking options.
  3. Configure global tracking options in Web System Manager.
