Installation Overview

The embedded application is part of an integrated enterprise solution. A proper installation involves more than placing a binary on a file system. All the parts in the integrated solution must be properly addressed to provide a complete installation.

The installation sections focus on the steps required to add the embedded application into an existing enterprise solution. They do not outline how to setup and install the enterprise solution itself.

The installation sections do not cover the following:

• Initial server setup, installation or configuration. However, server setup and configuration relevant to the embedded application is included or referenced
• Initial MFP setup or installation
• Any network setup or configuration
