SEAL print queues

Multiple SEAL external print queues can be created to release jobs through Equitrac devices. Although there can be multiple SEAL print queus, only one external print queue can be assigned per device. If multiple source server URIs are configured, then the user can release jobs from all of them to the SEAL configured destination printer.

Use the Devices > Physical Devices link to add a SEAL print queue to a physical device in Equitrac.

  1. Select a physical device, then select Add External Print Queue from the Select Action drop-down list.
  2. In the General Settings section, do the following:
    1. Enter a Name for the SEAL print queue.
    2. The Server defaults to the current DCE host. You can select a different server from the drop-down list.
    3. Select SEAL from the Type drop-down list.
    4. Enter the Destination printer URI.
    5. Enter a User Prefix to identify the user with the print job.

If the User Prefix is not specified then the system uses the unqualified user ID of the current user.

  3. In the Source Server URIs section, do the following:
    1. Enter the URI to identify the location of the SEAL server.
    2. Click Add to add the SEAL server to the URI list.
    3. Perform these steps again to add multiple SEAL servers.
Although there can be multiple SEAL print queues, only one external print queue can be assigned per Equitrac device.
  4. Click Save to save the SEAL configuration.
