Configure ApeosPort-IV devices

To configure ApeosPort-IV devices, do the following:

  1. Start a web browser, and enter the IP address of the ApeosPort-IV Fuji Xerox device in the Address field.
  2. When prompted, enter your Administration User Name and Password. The Fuji Xerox web configuration page opens (CentreWare Internet Services).
  3. Click the Properties tab, and go to General Setup > Web Browser Setup in the left menu pane.
  4. On the Web Browser Setup page, select V4 (New Version) from the Web Applications Version list, and click Apply.
  5. Go to General Setup > Web Application Service Setup, and enter the Server Number (for example, number 1), and click Edit. If the server number is already used by another application, enter a different available server number, and then click Edit to continue.
  6. On the Web Application Service Setup page, click Edit beside the Server Number setting. The Web Server Setup page opens.
  7. In the Address field, enter http-p0://<NN.NN.NN.NN>:2939/Public/DCE/EIP/sdr/index.html, where <NN.NN.NN.NN> is the IP address of the Equitrac DCE server. The URL is case sensitive.
    Using http-p0:// at the beginning of the SDR web application URL suppresses the toolbar buttons in the embedded web browser (EWB).
  8. Click Apply to save your setting.
