Create job in case action

Configure a Create job in case action for the Content Manager events, such as CreateFolder, DeleteDocument and more in the Content Manager system.

  1. Navigate to Integration > Micro Focus Content Manager.

    The Micro Focus Content Manager page appears.

  2. From the list, click the Content Manager system for which to configure events.

    The Edit Content Manager site configuration dialog box is displayed.

  3. Click for Events.

    The New Content Manager event configuration dialog box is displayed.

  4. Select the Event, such as Add Document, for which to configure the TotalAgility action. (Default: CreateFolder)
  5. Select the Record type. (Default: Folder)
  6. On the Action list, select Create job in case. (Default: Create new job)
  7. On the Process list, select the process or case map on which to create a job in case.

    If the selected process or case has any initialization parameters, the parameters appear under Initialization variables.

  8. For Case identifier, do either of the following:
    • Click Case reference and select a dynamic value, or click and enter a static value.

    • Click Case ID and select a dynamic value or enter a static value.

  9. To specify the attributes that, when created, trigger a TotalAgility action, map the attributes to the initialization variables using a dynamic or static Value.
  10. Click Save.

    The configured event appears under Events in the Edit Content Manager site configuration dialog box.

    You can edit or delete the event.

  11. Click Save.

    When a document is added in the Content Manager system, a job in case is created on the selected process map at runtime displaying the correctly populated variables.
