Track cost per a swimlane path

You can track the cost for a swimlane path. The cost shows on top of the lane as a sum of all the step costs multiplied by the number of instances. Pre-condition: you should have a Swimlane chart built on the process.

  1. Navigate to Studio > Processes and select the process that your swimlane is based on.
  2. Right-click a step and select Edit.

    The Define process step window appears.

  3. Set the Step cost and click OK.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each step, as applicable.
  5. Navigate to Studio > Views and select the view with the swimlane.
  6. Select the swimlane component.
  7. In the Property Panel, open Lane caption and select Process cost from the list.
  8. Save the changes.

    The process cost appears on top of the lane.
