Records

  1. On the Records window, define the record structure.

    • Delimited fields: Value of each field is separated from the value of another field by use of special symbols (delimiters).

    • Fields with prefixes: Each field has a special prefix.

    • Fixed length: Each field has a specified length.

    A window appears for the selected option.

  2. For each record, specify format options.
    Note While defining how to parse a record, click Parse Sample to see the results of parsing the record.
  3. You need to configure the connection to the Staging database: navigate to Tools > Studio settings and find the Staging Connection setting. Select the required database.
  4. To continue with the parsing configuration, open the Database Mapping tab in the template.
