Enable or disable URL links and HTML encoding in grids

You can make URL links and HTML encoding strings active or inactive when they appear in grids.

  1. In Studio, open the source based on which you created your grid (a record, a metric, or a process).
  2. Select the required field. On the Property Panel find the URL Field and HTML Encode properties and select them as required. The following rules apply:

    • For the URL link: if the URL Field property is selected, the link appears in the grid as an active link.

      If you clear this check box, the field appears with the inactive URL link.


    • For the HTML strings: if the HTML Encode property is selected, then the HTML string is not active.


      If you clear this check box, the HTML encoding becomes active.

    Note When you enable or disable the HTML Encode property for the field containing HTML strings, we recommend that you disable the URL Field property to avoid incorrect display of the HTML strings.
