Swimlane timing properties

You can configure different time settings on your swimlane according to your preferences, such as add time aggregated values (such as Standard deviation, 75 percentile, and more) for all or selected transitions.

  1. In Studio, open the required View with the swimlane.
  2. Highlight the swimlane chart and on the Property Panel find and change the following options as required.
    • Time on the transition line: You can add displaying the time metric to your transitions. This setting defines which time value to show. This setting is not effective when you set "Show time on transitions" to "None."
    • Show time on transitions: You can add displaying the time metric on all transitions, on the fastest and slowest transitions, or do not show this data at all. This setting defines where to show the time values.
    • Time type: If you added some time value to your transitions, use this property to select which time measurement to apply. This setting defines the time type for the time value. You may prefer seeing a simple number in a defined format, such as 0.5 days or 1.6 hours instead of a timestamp.
    • Tooltip time data: Instead of adding time values to the transitions on the chart, you may add tooltips with this information. This settings defines which time value to show in tooltips.
    • Minimum metric time transition style and Maximum metric time transition style: If you added Min and Max time values to your transitions, use these properties to select which style to apply to these labels. This setting defines the styles for time values. To use the regular style, click the No style button. This style has the top priority over other styles that can be applied, for example, conditional coloring.

For example, we selected to have 90 Percentile shown in days only for the longest transitions and also have 90 Percentile and Median time in tooltips.

Note The end user can always change these properties in the Viewer from the context menu and navigating to Process config > Transition configuration.
