You work in design mode to develop your dashboard. Preview the dashboard often to see what it looks like and how users can interact with it. When previewing your dashboard, you see it the same way that users do.

Select Open in Viewer to open your current View in a new browser tab.

Preview and Open in Viewer both show what the dashboard looks like to your users. Auto refresh occurs only in the Viewer, rather than Preview mode.
