Add pre-configured project version, project name, or Insight version to the dashboard

You can add the project version, project name, and Insight version to the project configuration settings. This information is preserved in the meta database and later, when you import the project and install it, pre-configured version numbers are retrieved and shown on the dashboard.

  1. In Studio, open Tools > Studio settings.
  2. Find the following settings and provide the required information in the text input boxes on the right:
    • Analytics project name
    • Analytics project version
    Click OK.
  3. Open the View to add the version information.
  4. From the Components toolbar, select the Label icon and drag it to the dashboard.
    The wizard window appears.
  5. Click the Template icon and in the Custom properties section, select Analytics project name from the list. Click OK.
  6. In the same way, add the Label component for the Insight version.
  7. Save the View.
