Add a child table

To access all of the data necessary for your metric, you may need to add child tables or sub-tables to the data source.

  1. Highlight the data source and click the Plus icon to reopen the Add Source window.
  2. Select the second data source type to map as a child table to your original data source.
  3. Select the New Source to map by clicking the ellipsis button again and navigating to the second source on the Documents Tree window. Click the new source name and click OK.

Define condition

  1. Go to the Define Condition section and select Click here to add new condition.
  2. Click in the box under Left Item to open a drop-down menu of all of the table fields. Select your key field.
  3. Select the same field in the Right Item drop-down menu to map these fields together.

    The steps for adding a table and identifying their related fields are repeated for each additional table that contains fields required in the metric.
