Selecting Blank Page Detection or Deletion
Use these settings to select blank page detection or deletion. See Blank Page Settings to configure preferences for identifying blank pages.

On the
Image Quality tab, in the
Blank Page group, click one of the following:

Detect: Marks (internally) blank pages without removing them, so they can be handled according to the blank page preferences set in your scanning application.

Delete: Automatically removes blank pages as they are scanned.
