This is the default mode when a batch of this batch class is created. The scan operator can choose a different mode when creating the batch from the Scan module or Batch Manager.

Scan

Scans the batches for this batch class.

Import

Imports images for this batch class.

Select an image cleanup profile from the drop-down list. The image cleanup profile you select is applied to all images in the batch. In addition, the images are saved in their cleaned up state.

Additional permanent image cleanup settings can be specified at the form type level from the Create Form Type window (Image tab) or Form Type Properties window (Image tab).

Displays the Image Cleanup Profiles window. From this window, you can define a custom image cleanup profile.

Select features that your scanner supports. Enabling these features only works if your scanner supports them. If your scanner does support them and you do not check any of the following items, the features are not used by Kofax Capture.

Patch code reader

Select this check box to use your scanner's patch code reader.

Bar code reader

Select this check box to use your scanner's bar code reader.
