Import

Opens the Open window where you can select a file that contains the list of values to import. The file extension name must be .txt. You can either replace or add to the existing list of values.

Force match

Enables Force match. If enabled, the list of known values is sent to the recognition engine to be used to process the Index field. In addition, the validation and verification operators are required to select from the list of known values. If not enabled, the list of known values is only used for the Kofax Capture recognition engine.

Note Force match and Case sensitive attributes apply to all known values in the list.

Case sensitive

Enables Case sensitive. The known value must be matched exactly by the OCR recognition engine. This forces a distinction between upper and lowercase characters.

Sort Options

Select the sorting options for values. By default, imported values retain the original order.

Alphabetically

Enables the alphabetical sorting order for values. Use the combo box to select ascending or descending order for the list.

Custom

Activates the Up and Down buttons to move the values along the list.

Also, you can right-click a value from the list and select an option: Cut, Copy, Paste, or Select All.

Note After publishing the batch class, the configured order applies to corresponding index or batch fields in different Kofax Capture modules. To restore the original sorting order for imported values, reimport the values.
