Separator Zone Properties Window

Use this window to update the properties for a separator zone.

Recognition Profiles

Select a recognition profile from the drop-down list.

Edit button

Displays the Recognition Profiles window. From this window, you can define a custom recognition profile.

Test button

Tests your settings. The contents of the test results match the search text specified in this window.

Confidence

Adjusts the minimum level of confidence that the recognition profile uses to separate documents.

Search text

Tests your settings. The contents of the test results match the search text specified in this window.

Enter the search text that must be captured for the OCR zones to be processed.

Note If search text is specified, it must exactly match the data to be captured for separation to occur. If the search text does not match the data, Kofax Capture does not process the OCR zones on the page. For example, if you create a separator zone to capture the data invoice on a form, your search text must be specified literally as invoice (you cannot abbreviate the search text as inv).
Treat search text as regular expression

When selected, the arrow button is enabled, and you can select regular expression characters from a menu. Selecting a character inserts it in the Search Text box. When selected, confidence from the recognition engine is ignored. If the regular expression matches, the confidence is 100. If not, the confidence is 0.
