If you select a queue that is not defined in the batch class workflow on the Queues tab, Kofax Capture issues an error when you attempt to publish the batch class.

Allow interactive auto-foldering

Select this option to allow interactive auto-foldering. The operator can apply the auto-foldering rules prior to batch closure. The operator must have batch editing rights and must be in the Batch Edit mode.

Auto-foldering Rules

You can configure automatic folder creation rules for a batch class using this window. Each row represents a folder creation rule. Each creation rule associates a document index field of a document class with a folder index field of another folder class.

Based on the rules, the folders can be created at different levels directly in the batch. The maximum number of folder levels is 32,000. The rules are not sorted as they are added, but you can drag items in the list to a position of your choosing.

Document Class

This column provides a drop-down list with the document classes in the batch class. A document class is not in the list if it does not have any index fields.

Document Index Field

This column provides a drop-down list that contains a list of document index fields associated with the selected document class. The default value is the first document index field in the drop-down list. Document index fields that are also table rows are not displayed.

Folder Class

Level

This column allows you to select the folder creation level. The value should be in the range of 1 to 32000. The default value is 1.

Create when value is

This column provides a drop-down list with four folder creation choices: not null, unique (null as value), unique (null as wildcard character), and unique (null as error).

The default value is "unique (null as error)" if this is the first time you are assigning a rule to an index field in a particular document class. Otherwise, the default value is the already assigned rule. In other words, the creation rules must be the same among all index fields in the same document class.

Changing the creation rule of one index field automatically changes the creation rules of all other index fields of the same document class.
