Enter a known value for the field type. The value should conform to the data type of the field. Then, click the Add button or press the Enter key to add the value to the list portion of the window. The maximum length of known values for CHAR and VARCHAR field types is 254 characters.

This is the list of known values for the field type. If this list contains values, the dictionary file specified on the General tab for this window is not used.

After you enter a known value in the edit portion of the combo box, click this button to add another value to the list.

Select a value from the list of known values and then click this button to remove it.

Select a value and then click Rename to change the name.

Opens the Open window where you can select a file that contains the list of values to import. The file extension name must be .txt. You can either replace the existing list of values or add to it.

Select this check box to enable Force match. If enabled, the list of known values is sent to the recognition engine to be used to process the Index field. In addition, the validation and verification operators are required to select from the list of known values. If not enabled, the list of known values is only used for the Kofax Capture OCR engine.

Enables Case sensitive. If enabled, the known value must be matched exactly by the OCR recognition engine. This forces a distinction between upper and lowercase characters.
