Create Batch Window - General Tab
Use this window to create a batch.

Select a batch class from the list.
- Description

Displays the description of the batch class.
- Priority

Select a priority level from 1 to 10 for the batch. The priority level controls the order in which the batch is processed for each module of the queue, with 1 being the highest.
The default priority for the batch is defined in the batch class. If you enter a different priority, the value is used for the current batch only. - Name

The name is based on the batch name format, which is defined in the Batch Class Properties Window - Batch Naming tab. You can enter a different name or edit the existing one. The batch name can contain up to 128 characters, including spaces for the name of the batch. (Leading and trailing spaces are removed.) The name, which must be unique, is not case-sensitive.
- Description

Enter up to 80 characters for a description of the batch. The description appears whenever properties for the batch are displayed.
- Pages per document

Select the number of pages per document. This option is available only if all form types in the batch class are defined as having a fixed number of pages.
- Documents per batch

Select the number of documents in the batch. This might be helpful for detecting whether the expected number of documents is processed.
- Pages per batch

Select the number of pages in the batch. This might be helpful for detecting whether the expected number of pages is processed.

If one or more batch fields are defined for the batch, they are listed here. If no batch fields are defined, this section is not displayed.
