Import - Export Progress Window

Batch class components are itemized in the Import/Export Progress window.

Each component is listed in this format:

[Action] [Item name]

For example, if you import a batch class called Order Forms that uses a document class called Catalog Orders, the following might be listed in the Import/Export window:

Add BatchClass Order Forms
Add DocumentClass Catalog Orders

Action Types

The following Action types are used in the Import/Export Progress window. For the import process, the Action type may vary when duplicate records (by name) are detected. The import Transfer Mode selection can affect the Action type, as noted below:

  • Add: Used for first-time import or export (for records that do not already exist)

  • Add as: Used for import when the Transfer Mode is set to Save duplicates to new name

  • Mark: Selects an item for import/export

  • Skip: Used for import when the Transfer Mode is set to Do not import duplicates or for read-only items (such as image cleanup profiles or recognition profiles)

  • Update: Used for import when the Transfer Mode is set to Replace duplicates with items imported and in some other circumstances

  • Export connectors

  • Form types

  • Image cleanup profiles

  • Recognition profiles

  • Separation and form identification profiles

  • Field types

  • Index field definitions

  • Functions (refers to functions performed by Kofax Capture modules)

  • Processes (refers to Kofax Capture module unique identifiers)
